JL Coquet
"Founded in 1824, 25 kilometers from Limoges, the J.L. Coquet house has always been famous for the purity and delicacy of its porcelain, as well as the superiority of its traditional know-how. The translucent whiteness of the material, the luster of gold, the contrast of colors and the elegance of the engravings are still, after 200 years, the hallmarks of his collections.
This company, dubbed the French Living Heritage Company and PGI, has become a symbol of the French art of living and the "Made in France" know-how, whose elegance can be found on the most beautiful tables.
Obtaining a product may require almost twenty manipulations, during which advanced technologies and know-how are closely linked. Thanks to the unique engraving technique, inserts made of gold, platinum or other precious metals emphasize the decorative nature of our products, ensuring their irreversibility. This technique gives colors and patterns a unique relief to sublimate each of our products.
At the same time, thanks to the unique technique of handmade satin finishing, mineral juice is applied to certain parts of the product to preserve the matte surface of the cookie, while enamel is applied to the undamaged parts. This combination of matte and shiny effects creates unique aesthetic contrasts while preserving the abrasive and marking materials of our products."
